I got discharged this afternoon. Crosby told me he wanted to blow the joint too, but the doctor said he needed to stay a while longer. (Guys he's such an adorable babe.)
His blood cultures showed no infection, so he's off of the proactive antibiotics he started on.
He is breathing all on his own and doing it really well.

He is struggling a little bit with "vigor and stamina and energy" which is also giving him jaundice a bit and not allowing him to hold his temp by himself so he now has a feeding tube for feeds every 3 hours (to help his tummy stretch and be ready to eat for real).
He is also on an IV drip (in his head though the nurse assures me it's the best place to be) of sugar, protein, extra vitamins, etc. to help him get stronger.
Basically if you want something to pray for tonight, pray that our little dude can start to eat well and in turn get his energy and vigor up.
Once that happens, he can come home and party!
Today I realized that Crosby really knows his Momma. He woke up and smiled at me when he heard my voice today. He always wakes to my voice.
Grama & Grampa Puppy came up to visit & help today.
