Andlie's teacher texted me this morning. She said, "Hey, I thought you'd like to know that Andlie will be getting a Cougar Recognition award at the assembly today. I'm very proud of her!"
Of course, I read, "Please call your husband and call the school to find out when the assembly is and make sure you're at the assembly so you can take pictures and be the proudest Mother that ever lived." So I did just that. We snuck in the back and sat quietly until the very end of the 25 minute assembly when Andlie got her award! She was so thrilled! She's so cute. She was so proud standing up there while Miss Carter read why she chose Andlie for the award. I was literally on the verge of tears. I'm so proud to be her Mom.
Later tonight, Haze had his very first game! Luckily, Andlie's usual Monday night practice got canceled due to rain so we could all be at the game. Haze's game was still played. Even though it was SO COLD. He was so happy and bouncy and did several good kicks tonight! Yay Hazey!
