March 17 - St. Patty's Day

The kids got green drinks for breakfast this morning!  Andlie loved it!  Haze liked it - after he was coaxed a little bit.  Nora was not a fan.  At all.

Got all dressed in our greens!  You know what that means - PICTURE TIME!

Then we came inside to make some green sugar cookies!  The dough was super solid and weird so I almost gave up on making cookies.  While I decided what to do with the dough, the kids quickly went to work using it as play dough!  I realized that once I rolled it in to little balls, it seemed like it might work as a sugar cookie.  So I made green circle sugar cookies.

The kiddos seemed to think they tasted just fine!  And they were right.  Weird cookie dough makes.....good cookies!

Then we had lunch outside - green mac & cheese.  They're such cute friends.  I'm sure thankful and feel so blessed.

Next stop: Partyland!  We picked up some green balloons.  Each kid got to chose the one they wanted.  Andlie chose a shiny one, Haze chose a swirly one, and Nora picked the zebra one.  After dinner, there was one more surprise waiting for the kids - green buckets full of gold coins!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
