Andlie woke up with a pretty decent fever today. And she said her head and throat kinda hurt. So she stayed home from school.
We took a "good morning" selfie in the chair this morning. We have here: a half-smiling Andlie who doesn't feel good, a shirtless little boy's boy, a sad girl because she didn't want to take a picture, and one tired Momma who is still in jammies. What a blessed life I have!
We went to the doctor early this afternoon. Andlie was diagnosed with a sinus infection and Strep Throat! Boo. She was instructed to stay home from school for at least 24 hours AFTER her first does of antibiotic. So she's staying home until Thursday - at least. Happy to see her smiling this afternoon.
While the girls were napping this afternoon, I went outside with Haze and watched him play trucks in the sunshine. He gets so focused on those little trucks and makes such fun noises. I sure love having girls AND a boy.
We were feeling kind of cooped up this evening so we went for a family walk. Andlie got to ride in the stroller since she wasn't feeling very good. We had to stop & take a picture of our park because (in Nora's words), "It's all messed up!" They tore the entire park down today to prepare for the new park coming in May! The kids were pretty shocked to see the park missing entirely.
