May 6 - Crazy Hair Day & Father/Son = Mommy/Daughter

Crazy Hair Day at school today was a raging success!  Andlie was SO EXCITED to go to school and rightfully so!  I went to check on her during lunch and she said, "Everyone (teachers) keep asking me if they can take my picture to show their families!"  She was the only one in school with this hair-do and she rocked it all day long!  I love it too!

Today around 4:00, it hailed.  Like a lot.  What the heck, Mother Nature?

It stopped by the time Daddy & Hazey left to go on their annual Father/Son camp-out!  This is Haze's FOURTH year going!  But it's the very first time he & Daddy slept over!

Haze says he had fun throwing rocks & sticks, going on a hike/climb, seeing the fire, and eating the delicious food.  But his very favorite part was sleeping in a sleeping bag in the new tent!

Meanwhile, back at home, us girls had our own party!  We started by going to Kneader's with the women & girls of our ward.  Then we headed to Target where Andlie got brand new pencils and Nora got some brand new pink blocks.  Most importantly, Andlie got her mint chocolate chip ice cream!

We came home and painted Nora's toes pink - something she has REALLY been looking forward to.  She loves her toes painted - especially when they're painted pink.  Then we watched a show in Mommy's bed and then Nora went to bed.  But Andlie got to sleep in Mommy's bed! And we stayed up until almost 11:00 watching movies and eating ice cream IN BED and visiting!  I'd say we had a pretty great Girls Night!

Nora told me, "I like to lay by you and visit you.  I like your hair.  Your long, pretty hair."
