August 4 - Park City With the Bensons: Day 1

Nora's had a little fever for a couple days.  This morning, I decided to take her to the doc just in case she needed antibiotics since we're headed to Park City for 4 days.

Nora is not a fan of the doctor.  Never has been.  But she was VERY brave this time.  She didn't even cry once when the nurse weighted & measured her or when she checked her temperature or heart rate.  She didn't love when the doc came in, but she kept a brave face and only let out a couple wimpers when he checked her ears & mouth.  AND, she was SO BIG and even "peed in a bucket" so we could check for a UTI.  It took her a couple tries and an apple juice and some water, but SHE DID IT!  The nurse was very impressed that she's only 2 and could do that.

We had some time to wait while her results came in so we took some pictures.  She kept saying, "Take 'nother one, Mom!"  And then she'd strike a pose or make a crazy face & laugh at herself.

After we got home, we headed to Park City where we met up with the Hatch family and Grama & Grampa in our shared condo!  The kids immediately went swimming in our personal hot tub!

And then we headed to Granny's 80th Birthday Dinner Celebration catered at the Marriott!

Nora fell in love with Bret - again.  She LOVES him!  She was pretty proud to show him her new dress that Daisey gave to her this afternoon!
