He's sitting at the counter working on some sack puppets and humming
"The Ants Go Marching." There's clanking of the glue stick tipping over
and I can hear the Sharpies pressing hard on the paper. His little legs
are bent weird and his little feet are both flexed out of sheer
concentration. And I'm just sitting at the table doing nothing else but
watching him.

And then Andlie just got walked back in the door from a bike ride (1st one) around the neighborhood/park with her friends without an adult. I told her to stay with her friends and sent her with a loud whistle. She came back & reported that "they didn't go to the church like we said and I didn't know what to do, but I stayed with them and then came right home." Good girl.

My kids are getting so big! Luckily, Andlie hurried and did something cute & funny (made a smiley face in her apple with her teeth) that I forgot about crying. I'm the luckiest Mom.
