Kids woke up to spider webs in the stairway and all throughout the bathroom.
Andlie & Hazey went to school in their Halloween costumes!
Andlie enjoyed a Halloween themed lunch that me & Bry made her: a jack-o-lantern sandwich, a ghost string cheese, an eyeball Sunny D, some chips, and a dessert. But the best part: a Halloween joke!
I got ready for the day in my *favorite* Halloween Tee. Ratted my hair and threw on some red lipstick. Because Halloween.
Crosby looked at my hair & furrowed his brows.
Me, Bryan, Nora, and Cros went to the school to watch the Halloween parade!
Hazey came home & loved on Crosby.
Andlie & Haze wrote each other some lovely notes.
***Crosby got to take his oxygen off! The doctor called around 4:00 confirming we could take the oxygen off forever! Took the stickers off & cooed over his darling little face.***
Got ready to trick-or-treat. Got our porch ready for our trick-or-treaters. Stopped at the soup party at the Nielsen's house and visited with friends.
TRICK-OR-TREATING! We had such a wonderful time!
The kids were all so polite - to the homeowners and to each other.
Nora loved trick-or-treating this year. She happily galloped to each doorstep, held her bag out, said, "Trick-or-treat!" and then when they'd tell the kids to take one, Nora would take one.....handful. And then she'd gallop away & yell, "Happy Halloween!"
Haze was his usual bouncy, loud, ninja self and kept jumping off and on the curb and making ninja noises.
Andlie was the mother of the group & did pretty well to be sure that Nora made it up the stairs for each house, got a candy, and made it down.
Crosby enjoyed hanging out in the wrap on Mommy.
We saw a house with "Pirates of the Caribbean" music blaring, smoke, pirates wandering around in the yard, and a pirate throwing gold coins off the balcony.
We stopped at a house where Belle & Beast were hanging out and took some pictures & visited a princess!
We went to a back yard where Willy Wonka music was playing and there were gigantic candy pieces (inflatables), a cotton candy machine, and an entire family dressed as Oompa Loompas.
We stopped at our beloved zombie house! There were at least five zombies that had come to life and were wandering around/lurking in bushes. Nora cried. Andlie dug her heels in. Haze kept giving the zombies high fives.
We ended our Halloween night by watching a Halloween movie together and counting our candies.
What a happy Halloween we had!
Dear Haze:
Haze you are the best. You sometimes get sad but I will help you. I am always with you. You make me smile. You are funny. Do you want to do exercise with me today? I love when you get so funny. You are the best brother ever. [A whole bunch of stuff about poop.] I love you.
Andlie:
You're fun to play with me. You make me laugh. You're funny.
