Since Bryan was jet-lagged and overly tired from sleeping 28 hours total in a week on our actual anniversary, I told him to just surprise me another day. Today was that day!
He came home at lunch with this beautiful bouquet of flowers, a perfect card with a handwritten letter inside (my FAVORITE gift), and a Tile wrapped in foil (because it was our aluminum-iversary). He is always so thoughtful when it comes to gifts and this time was no different. I feel so blessed to be his eternal partner. What a wonderful blessing!
Nora has been really loving drawing & coloring lately. She's getting really good at drawing circles! Sometimes she'll even add eyes and a mouth! And she knows all of her colors too! And she can count to about 15 with no help. And she knows the ABC song! Smartie pants over here!
Daddy went to Logan tonight for Nicole's wedding. Grama & Grampa Puppy (who have been staying with us since last night) also went. So it was just me & the kids at home tonight. I tucked everyone in around 9:00 and then Nora came out at about 10:00.
She walked in my room with her bink in her mouth and dragging her blankie. Her bink was practically falling out because of the huge grin she had on her face. She didn't say anything and climbed right in to bed with me, laid on Daddy's pillow, and snuggled right up to my face. Then we visited for a long time. I secretly love that she comes out of her bed at night to have some one on one time with her Mommy. She's just my favorite 2 year old in the entire universe.
