April 21 - Banana Outfit & Giggles

Nora wore her brand new (to her) banana outfit today!  She was in love.  She was so proud to have bananas all over her outfit.  She kept saying, "The monkeys will say, 'Ee ee oo oo,' and they will take the trash off the bananas (peels) and then they will eat it!"

(Also, I had to snap a picture of her with her beloved bottle of warm milk.  She still has one in the morning and one at night and she loves them.  She is a big girl, but she's still my little baby.  And I love it.)

This afternoon, me & Hazey had a little couch snuggle time.  And we were taking silly pictures and then they were made even sillier when Andlie stuck her tongue out in the picture!

April 20 - Cupcake Day

I had an appointment with a cardiologist this morning because I've been having "skipped beats" and rapid heart rate since about week 5 of pregnancy.  I scheduled the appointment on February 22.  Had an EKG on that same day and then called back notifying them of the EKG that had been done (not in their office) on February 26.  This morning, I had a sneaking suspicion that I wasn't on the schedule since no one had called to remind me of anything.  I called to confirm and was right: They didn't have my name on the schedule anywhere and furthermore, "didn't have a record of me ever MAKING an appointment."  After arguing (nicely) for a while, I hung up the phone with a new appointment date of JUNE 15!  I cried and cried and cried.  Then I called Bryan and cried some more.

Meanwhile, I told my Katie about my frustrating morning.  (I'd been patiently waiting to get reassurance from the cardiologist since February 22.)  And Bryan somehow called back & got me an appointment for next week.  I don't know how, but he did and I love him for it.  He takes such good care of me always.  I feel truly blessed.

When I got back from school pick up, Katie was waiting for me on my front porch with a double chocolate ganache cupcake in her had which she gave to me.  I don't know why, but I have been blessed with such amazing, wonderful friends - especially Katie.  She does so much for me - and for everyone around her!  It made my heart so happy to have her waiting with a big ol' hunk of chocolate.  What a blessing!

April 19 - Poop in the Tub

Cute little Hazey.  I'll never stop loving his cute little morning face in my bed with me every single morning.  It's just the very best.  And so is he.

Well. Nora made a big ol' log in the tub. Like not a normal kid poo. And adult one. I knew because she looked at me & said, "Mom, can you change my bum?" So I had her stand up and cleared her out of the tub. But not before she STEPPED ON HER OWN POO cutting it in half and smearing it in to the bath mat. So I got her out and she say, "Mi, sorry I pooped." Awe. But then I had to clean it. I dunked my hand in & out as fast as a buzzing wasp to pull the drain. There it was. Just sitting there. I pep talked myself and went in with a big ol' wad of TP. Nope. Soggy, giant, stinky poo in my hand. I ran to the bathroom and shut everyone out - dry heaving something fierce all the way. Pee was dripping down my leg from the force of the gags. Sat down to pee and had to hold some puke in WITH MY HAND. Spit it out BETWEEN MY OWN LEGS. But wait - there's still another half a log. Took a deep breath. Gagged looking at it. Went for it. Flushed. Gagged and gagged and spit. Hot water on to rinse off the ground in remains. Lysol everywhere. But it is done. Nora said, "Thank you for cleaning my poop."  She is pretty cute.  I'll give her that.  But this event wast not.

This afternoon, me & Hazey man made some hummingbird food!  Finally!  He wanted to label the jug with me so he did.  And I think he did a pretty good job.

Cute Nora.  Always a princess.  She wanted to wear her Elsa dress to the soccer game.  So she did.  Because when she decides something, there is no changing her mind.  The end.  She's pretty great.  I love her little personality.

April 18 - Pretzel Time!

My Katie (Miller) texted me that my beloved dark chocolate covered pretzels were 1. at Costco!  And 2. on sale!  ($2 off per bag!)  You better believe I went and bought 12 bags.  And then wondered if I needed  more.

During afternoon cleanup, I realized that I hadn't taken a picture of page 1 of Andlie's book.  She started it about a month ago and spent a lot of time on the first page.  I just love her so so so much and I'm so so so proud to be her Momma.

"I like Heavenly Father's rules.  Do you?  You have to say prayers.  You can do an act of kindness to someone.  You can help your Mom clean around the house.  You can help you Dad with the dishes.  You can play with your brother.  You can help your sister.  You can play with a friend that does not have a friend.  You can say 'please' and 'thank you.'  You can so service for someone.  You can help someone up."

April 17 - Testimony

Cute Andlie wrote her testimony during Sacrament Meeting.  I almost burst in to proud/happy tears when she passed it over to me to read.

And then while Daddy was at a meeting this afternoon and I was upstairs resting, Andlie & Haze surprised me and cleaned the basement spotless! They even made their beds nice & neat!

We were playing in the kitchen as a family this evening and Daddy had fun teasing Hazey by putting him on top of the fridge.  Haze wasn't super sure if it was funny, annoying, or scary.  But in the end, he settled on funny and cracked a smile and even let a little giggle escape.

April 16 - Haze's Special Night

The kids found a ladybug during Haze's soccer game this morning.  Surprisingly, they kept track of it for the entire game!  They watched it crawl in the grass, fly a bit, and hang out on Daddy's shirt.  Fun activity for the girls during Haze's game!

Andlie thought she might like to pose like the Watch DOG on her shirt tonight.  So she did just that.

While Andlie was at home posing, the boys were out on the town!  Tonight was Haze's very first "Special Night!"   He chose to go on a date with Daddy.  They were originally gonna go get ice cream, but then Haze decided he wanted to go to WalMart to show Daddy that we had found tiny transformers there last week!  Bryan said, "We can just get some candy and then go to WalMart if you want."  He excited exclaimed, "Okay!"

So they went and got some Gummy Bears and a Cookies & Cream Hershey's bar and then headed to WalMart where they spent the next hour and a half playing with toys and checking on/talking about transformers.  Cutest little Hazey.

For his alone time with Mommy & Daddy, he wanted to play transformers.  So we did.  We set up bad guys and transformed our assigned figures on command and made boy noises and fought the bad guys.  And it was so much fun!  Hazey had such a happy night and so did we!  We love you, Buddy!

April 15 - Makeup, Brown Skin, & Pregnancy Cravings

Sometimes, I think it's fun to take "before" & "after" pictures of my face before makeup & my face after makeup.  It's kinda interesting to see the difference makeup makes.

I was snuggling Nora today and noticed how BROWN her skin is!  Especially when it's right next to my white skin.  Actually made me laugh out loud.

Finally, I made myself a snack tonight.  At 11:30 pm.  And by "snack" I mean made myself a turkey sandwich, got a bag of Salt & Vinegar chips, and added some pickles for good measure.  Maybe I might be pregnant.....
